South Venice Florida Real Estate 

South Venice Florida is a large area of residential homes approximately 3 miles south of the city of Venice. There are approximately 5000 homes in this area which is non-deed restricted and is subject to Sarasota County regulations. South Venice homes run on well and septic where the lot size was 40 x 100 and a minimum of two lots were required to build so the smallest lot size is 80 x 100. This area has its own private beach area available to residents via a small ferry. Only members of the South Venice Civic Association are entitled to use the ferry for a small annual fee. It is close to shopping and the movies.
