மக்கள் நீதி மய்யம் கட்சியின் தலைவர் திரு. கமல் ஹாசனுக்கு, சினிமா, கலாச்சாரம் மற்றும் கலைகளில் அவரது அருபது ஆண்டு பங்களிப்புக்காக, இன்று (19.11.2019) ஒடிசாவின் செஞ்சுரியன் தொழில்நுட்ப மற்றும் மேலாண்மை பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின் சார்பாக கவுரவ டாக்டர் பட்டம் வழங்கப்பட்டது. பழங்குடியினர் மற்றும் முன்னாள் நக்சலைட்டுகளுக்கு பல்வேறு திறன்களைப் பயிற்றுவிப்பதில் இப்பல்கலைக்கழகம் முக்கிய பங்கு வகிக்கிறது. ஒடிசா முதலமைச்சர் திரு.நவீன் பட்நாயக் பட்டமளிப்பு விழாவிற்கு தலைமை தாங்கி திரு கமல்ஹாசனுக்கு கவுரவ டாக்டர் பட்டம் வழங்கினார்.  பல்கலைக்கழக வளாகத்தில் உள்ள 'ராஜ் கமல் பட்டாம்பூச்சி தோட்டத்தை' திறந்து வைத்த திரு கமல் ஹாசன்,  பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின் திறன் மேம்பாட்டு திட்டத்தின் கீழ் பயிற்சி பெற்ற மாணவர்களின் படைப்புகளைப் பார்வையிட்டார்.

Makkal Needhi Maiam party President, Mr. Kamal Haasan received an honorary doctorate from Centurion University of Technology and Management, Odisha, today (19.11.2019), for his contribution to cinema, culture and arts for 60 years. The university plays an important role in training tribals and former Naxalites in various skills. Odisha Chief Minister, Mr. Naveen Patnaik, presided over the convocation ceremony and presented Mr. Kamal Haasan with the doctorate degree. While at the campus, inaugurated Haasan inaugurated the 'Raj Kamal Butterfly garden' and viewed the works of the students trained under the university's skill development scheme.
