On behalf of MNM Labour wing and MNM Trade Union, the centenary of Labour Day was celebrated with great pride, at MNM Head Quarters.
MNM Trade Union flag was hoisted as a mark of respect to toiling labourers, in the presence of Vice President Mr. A. G. Mourya (retd) IPS, Vice President Mr. Thangavelu and State Secretary for labour wing & Trade Union, Mr. Ponnusamy.
Addressing the enthusiastic cadres, Mr. A. G. Mourya recalled with gratitude, the sacrifices made by many across the world, to honour the labourers and giving them their rights.
He also hailed Singaravelanar, who was the first in Asia to celebrate Labour Day, that too in Chennai.
Mr. Mourya also thanked the TN State Government for revoking the 12 hour work proposal.

Ravichandran, Deputy Secretary Mr. Maran, Zonal Organiser Mr. Sekar, District Organiser Mr. Ramsekar and cadres and supporters participated in the event.
