Our party President Nammavar, has not only been emphasising on the importance of local governance, but also been insisting on actively creating awareness on the importance of attending Grama Sabhas.
To add more strength to his vision, Makkal Needhi Maiam has been a part of Grama Sabhas for the last 5 years and the relevant people from the Panchayats have been attending Grama Sabhas.

We need to ensure that the requests of people should be translated as resolutions. We also need to ensure that the resolutions passed in the previous Grama Sabhas have been duly attested to. Following the visionary guidance of our leader, let's ensure that people's basic needs are fulfilled.
