On 16/07/2023, Kovai Makkal Needhi Maiam held a demonstration protest against Mrs. Vanathi Srinivasan, for not fullfilling the election promises made during the 2021 campaign. The protest was held near Valliammai Bakery, Ukkadam.
The protest was headed by MNM Vice President Me. R. Thangavelu and zonal secretary Mr. Ranganathaan was the chief guest. The State Secretary for Youth Wing Mr. Snegan delivered a fiery address condemning Mrs. Vanathi Srinivasan's inaction.
Among others who participated in the protest were Mr. Mayilsami, State Secretary, Agricultural Wing, Mrs. Anusha Ravi, State Secretary, Propoganda,, Mrs. Radhasha Deviyar, State Co ordinator , Entrepreneurship Wing, Madurai Zonal Secretary Mr. Alagar, Welfare Wing Zonal Organiser Mr. Siddique, , Zonal Organiser Agricultural Wing Mr. Sridhar and Agni Siragugal Saravanan.
District Secretaries Mr. Prabhu, Mr. Chitko Siva, Mr. Tamburaj, Mr. Manoramyan and others had made the arrangements for this protest.
