Dr. Kamal Haasan addressed the students of Loyola College at their event on 23/03/2023.
He spoke at length on the importance Democracy and the role of students in preserving the Democratic values. He motivated the students to have lofty goals and March towards those goals.
During the Q&A session, he spoke about how he moulded himself & reminisced fondly, the role played by his parents and teachers. He also cited the challenges thrown at him and how he faced them.
It is politics that decides the future of our students so it is imperative that the students should keep a keen eye on what's happening in our country, said Dr. Kamal Haasan. On being questioned on whether political involvement would affect the future of the students, he said that it's time we shed our fears and look at it from a perspective where the students will be shaping our Democracy, deciding on employment etc. The students welcomed the reply with roaring ovation.
