In my Unstarred Question in the Rajya Sabha, I sought clarity on the roadmap to scale nuclear capacity to 100 GW by 2047, timelines for thorium-based reactors, and community engagement around projects like Kalpakkam.
These issues were addressed by the Hon. Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office @DrJitendraSingh. Advancing thorium-based nuclear energy is vital for India’s energy independence, reducing crude oil imports, and securing a cleaner path to our nation’s development.
